Resumo:
In this talk I’ll present pros and cons of different types of data sources of interaction logs. Moreover, I’ll discuss how logs can be used in user interface evaluation. After presenting the main definitions and terms, I’ll detail two published works: a method to summarize observational client-side data, indicating potential usability problems and accessibility barriers [1]; a study relating usability/accessibility information with graph topology metrics and motifs, which enables the use of graph analysis tools to analyze and explore interaction logs [2].
