In this talk we will showcase the open source software HeuristicLab used for search and optimization problems. This software comprehends a graphical interface with flexibility on the choices of algorithms, representations, etc. It also provides an easy programmatic interfaceto extend the software by developing plugins written in C#.
- Mini-Biografia: Bogdan Burlacu was born in Romania, he has a master degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from Iasi, Romania, a ph.D. degree at the HEAL group in Upper Austria in Software Engineering. He is currently member of Josef Ressel Centre for Symbolic Regression at University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. He has experience in Data Science, modelling, and he is the current chess champion in Upper Austria.
